Khawaja Manpower (SMC-Private) Limited — a registered Pakistani company
What we agree before a single shift
- Grooming and uniform standard, and who supplies it
- Which areas each grade works, and reports to whom
- Food handling discipline for kitchen and service staff
- Split and night shift pattern with relief
- Banquet call-out: notice period and headcount
Hotel, restaurant and banquet roles
Hospitality is judged on the guest’s last five minutes. That depends almost entirely on who was on shift.
| Role | Typical work |
|---|---|
| Room attendants | Guest rooms, turndown, linen change, amenity replenishment, corridor upkeep |
| Public area cleaners | Lobby, lifts, washrooms, restaurant floor and back-of-house areas |
| Kitchen stewards & dishwashers | Pot wash, dish wash, kitchen cleaning, waste handling, equipment cleaning |
| Kitchen helpers & commis support | Preparation support, stores movement, portioning, under your chef’s direction |
| Waiters & service staff | Restaurant and room service, table setup, order taking support, clearing |
| Banquet & event staff | Hall setup, service through the function, breakdown and reset — often for a single night |
| Laundry & linen staff | Guest and house laundry, linen sorting, pressing, distribution |
| Bell, porter & lobby support | Luggage, guest assistance, lobby presence |
| Gardeners & outdoor upkeep | Lawns, entrance, outdoor dining and event areas |
| Supervisors | Roster, attendance, area checklists, reporting to your housekeeping or F&B manager |
For back-office and reservations roles on your own payroll, see office staff recruitment. Facility-wide cleaning contracts are covered on facility management.
Banquet season is a staffing problem disguised as a sales success
A hotel’s permanent team is sized for ordinary occupancy. Then wedding season arrives, and a single function needs a crew for one evening — set up, serve, break down, gone by midnight. Hire permanently for that and you carry the cost all year. Scramble for it on the day and the service shows it.
So the arrangement that actually works is a standing understanding: an agreed call-out notice period, an agreed headcount band, and the same people returning function after function so they already know your hall, your service sequence and your setup. We would rather send the crew that worked your last three events than a new crew that is cheaper.
The same logic covers Ramzan iftar service, Eid occupancy, conference season and resort peaks.
What we brief, and what stays with your managers
Your service standard is yours. Ours only makes sure nobody arrives unprepared for it.
Grooming and uniform
Clean pressed uniform, closed shoes, hair and hygiene standards, name badge — agreed at quotation, including who supplies the uniform.
Food handling discipline
Hand hygiene, covered food, separate cloths, and the handling rules your kitchen and the applicable provincial food authority require.
Guest areas and discretion
What staff may touch, where they may go, and that nothing about a guest leaves the property.
Split and night shifts
Hospitality rosters are not office rosters. Split shifts, night cover and weekend load are built in, with relief planned.
Verified before deployment
CNIC verified through NADRA, references checked, and police character certificates — which we recommend for every property with guest rooms.
Service briefing by you
Your F&B and housekeeping managers brief the service sequence and standards. We build the time for it into mobilisation.
No star-rating accreditation, no hygiene certificate and no training-academy claim appears on this page, because we hold none. What is true is that staff are briefed on grooming, hygiene and area discipline before deployment, and then work to your property’s standards under your own managers.
From property walkthrough to a staffed shift
Hotels normally start with one department and extend once the routine is proven.
Property walkthrough
Room count, outlets, banquet capacity, occupancy pattern and the departments you want covered.
Staffing and roster plan
Headcount by department and shift, supervisor cover, relief pool, and the banquet call-out arrangement.
Recruitment and verification
Shortlisting on grooming, communication and experience, with CNIC verification, references and police character certificates.
Deployment and briefing
Staff on property in uniform, briefed by your managers on service sequence before the first shift.
Steady state and surge
Attendance, payroll, statutory filing and replacement stay our job. Banquet crews called out on the agreed notice.
Included, and not included
Hospitality contracts go wrong over uniforms and call-out notice. Both are settled at quotation.

Call-out notice is the line that matters most. Agree it before the season rather than during it, and both sides can plan.
The properties we work with
Each has a different peak and a different standard to hold.
Hotels and business hotels
Rooms, public areas, F&B outlets and banquet, with occupancy that swings by season.
Guest houses and serviced apartments
Smaller teams where one person covers several roles, so selection matters more.
Restaurants and cafes
Service and kitchen stewarding, with weekend and evening load far above weekday.
Banquet halls and marquees
Function-by-function crews — the clearest case for a call-out arrangement.
Resorts and hill-station properties
Strong seasonal swing, and accommodation for staff agreed in the contract.
Corporate guest houses and messes
Small permanent teams, high discretion, long-running contracts.
Registered with the bodies that matter
We are a registered Pakistani company and a registered employer. Incorporation, tax and statutory registrations are all in place, and the documents are shared directly with clients during vendor prequalification.

What we will not overstate
We do not run a hospitality training academy and we do not describe our staff as trained to a star standard. They are briefed on grooming, hygiene and area discipline, and then your managers brief the service sequence. That is the honest division, and it is also the one that actually works — your standard cannot be taught by somebody who does not work in your property.
We do not supply security guards, and we do not take on food cost, menu or kitchen operation. We supply people; the kitchen stays yours.
Our office is in Rawalpindi. For properties outside the twin cities, and for resort locations, accommodation and transport for staff are agreed in writing at quotation — that line decides whether a remote property can be staffed reliably at all.
Frequently asked questions
Can you supply staff for a single banquet or wedding function?
Yes, and it is one of the main reasons hotels use us. It works best as a standing arrangement with an agreed call-out notice period and headcount band, so the same crew returns function after function and already knows your hall and service sequence.
Who provides the uniforms?
Either side. It is agreed at quotation and written into the contract, because hospitality uniforms are usually brand-specific and it changes the price. Either way staff report in clean, pressed uniform.
Are your kitchen staff trained in food hygiene?
They are briefed on hand hygiene, covered food, separate cloths and the handling rules your kitchen and the applicable provincial food authority require. Formal food-safety training and any medical fitness requirement your property applies are specified by you, and we meet what you specify. We do not claim a certification we do not hold.
Our occupancy swings heavily by season. Can headcount follow it?
Yes. A permanent core with a variable layer on contract is the usual structure. The surge is planned ahead of the season and the scale-back afterwards is handled with final settlements completed.
Do you verify staff before they work in guest areas?
Yes. CNIC verified through NADRA, references checked with previous employers, and police character certificates arranged — which we recommend for every property with guest rooms rather than treating as optional.
Can you staff a resort property outside the city?
Yes, with accommodation and transport agreed in writing at quotation. For a remote property that line is the difference between a roster that holds and one that collapses in the second month.
