Office Boy Outsourcing in Pakistan
Office boys, tea boys, pantry attendants and messengers outsourced to corporate offices, clinics, law firms, software houses and branch offices across Pakistan — on our payroll, so cover and replacement are our job.
Khawaja Manpower (SMC-Private) Limited — a registered Pakistani company
What we brief before anyone starts
- The daily routine, hour by hour
- Pantry hygiene — hands, crockery, covered food
- Confidentiality — nothing leaves the office
- Conduct — no mobile on duty, no personal errands
- Uniform and grooming, every single day
Office support roles
Small offices often want one person covering two of these. Larger floors want them separated. Both work, as long as the contract says which.
| Role | Typical duties |
|---|---|
| Office boy | Tea and water service, desk support, photocopying, filing, post, office errands |
| Tea boy / pantry attendant | Pantry operation, tea for staff and guests, crockery, pantry stock |
| Messenger / runner | Bank deposits and cheque drops, courier, document delivery between offices |
| Cleaner-cum-office boy | Morning cleaning plus tea and desk support through the day — common in smaller offices |
| Front-desk support / helper | Guest reception support, visitor tea, meeting-room setup, lobby assistance |
Many offices take an office boy together with a janitor or housekeeping cleaner, and sometimes a driver, on one contract with one invoice. See housekeeping staff outsourcing and driver supply.
What a good office boy actually does through the day
The gap between a good office boy and an average one is routine, not attitude. This is the routine we brief ours on.
Before staff arrive: office opened and aired, pantry stocked, crockery ready, meeting rooms wiped and chairs set. Morning: first tea round, water topped up, photocopying and filing picked up, post collected.
Through the day: guest tea served promptly, meeting rooms prepared before the meeting rather than during it, bank and courier runs completed with the receipt handed back, and pantry or stationery shortages reported early instead of on the day they run out. Closing: crockery washed, pantry cleaned, lights and ACs off, rooms reset for the morning.
The small things matter more than the job description: serving tea without interrupting a meeting, reporting a fault instead of hiding it, and never discussing office matters outside.
Why we check these people carefully
Office boys move freely through your premises, handle documents and often carry cash to the bank.
CNIC verified through NADRA
Before deployment, every time, with no exceptions for urgency.
Previous employer references
Checked properly — especially for messenger and cash-handling roles.
Address on record
Permanent and current address recorded, with a local reference where one is available.
Police character certificate
Arranged on your request before the staff member starts. We recommend it for all bank-run roles.
Written contract and attendance
For staff on our payroll, with salary paid to a bank account rather than in cash.
Confidentiality briefing
Documents, conversations and visitor details stay inside your office. Briefed before day one.
One person can genuinely cover morning cleaning plus tea and desk support in a small office. One person cannot do two full jobs. Selling that causes turnover — and turnover is the thing clients complain about most. Tell us the office size and the real split of duties so the workload in the contract is achievable.
From requirement to someone at your pantry
Usually the fastest of all our services, because you interview at your own office.
Send the requirement
Number of staff, office location, duty timings, whether pantry, cleaning or bank runs are included, and who provides the uniform.
We shortlist and verify
CNIC through NADRA, references checked, and a police character certificate if you want one.
You interview
At your office for twin-cities clients, or by video elsewhere.
Deployment
On the agreed date, in uniform, briefed on your office routine before the first morning.
Cover and replacement
For contract staff, attendance, payroll, leave cover and replacement stay our job.
Hiring directly versus putting them on our payroll
For one office boy, outsourcing mainly buys you cover. For five or more across floors or branches, it removes a real load from HR and accounts.
| Hiring directly | Outsourcing to us | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding candidates | Your admin team searches and screens | We shortlist verified candidates |
| Payroll, EOBI and records | Your accounts team handles it | One monthly invoice per person |
| Someone does not turn up | Your office goes without tea and support | We send cover |
| Annual and sick leave | You arrange cover yourself | Leave cover arranged by us |
| Someone quits | You restart the whole search | We replace from our standby list |
| Whose payroll? | Yours | Khawaja Manpower’s |
Permanent hiring is also available if you would rather have a long-term staff member of your own — tell us how many people and for how long, and we will recommend the model that costs less.
The offices we supply
Verification matters more in some of these than in others, and we scale it accordingly.
Corporate offices
Blue Area, F- and G-sectors Islamabad — office boys, tea boys and pantry attendants for multi-floor offices.
Law firms and CA practices
Messengers for court, registry and bank work, with police verification as standard.
Software houses and IT companies
Pantry and office support for larger floor teams, usually on fixed timings.
Bank branch offices
Office boys and messengers, always with police verification completed before joining.
Clinics and diagnostic centres
Front-desk support and cleaner-cum-office boys for smaller premises.
Consultancies, NGOs and trading offices
Attendants for meetings and visitors, in Saddar, Satellite Town and across the twin cities.
Registered with the bodies that matter

What we will not promise
We do not describe our office boys as “trained” or “certified”. What is true is that every candidate is briefed on the daily routine, pantry hygiene, conduct and confidentiality before deployment — and that is a claim we can stand behind on any given morning.
A police character certificate is arranged on your request. We do not claim that every person on our books already holds one, because that would not be true.
Uniform arrangements are agreed at quotation — we can supply them, or you can provide your own in your company colours. Either way staff report in clean, pressed uniform. Our office is in Rawalpindi, which is why twin-cities clients get in-person interviews and the fastest replacements; we supply Lahore, Karachi and other cities on request.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to outsource an office boy?
It depends on duty hours, the duties included — tea only, or tea plus cleaning plus bank runs — the location and the number of staff. Send those details and we quote a per-person monthly figure with nothing hidden inside it.
Kya office boy ki jagah koi aur mil jata hai agar wo chutti par ho?
Ji haan. Contract staff ke liye leave aur absence cover hamari zimmedari hai — chutti, bimari ya kisi ke naukri chhorne ki surat mein hum standby list se banda bhej dete hain, taake aap ka office aur pantry ka kaam ruke nahi.
Do you verify office boys before sending them?
Yes. CNIC is verified through NADRA, previous-employer references are checked, and a police character certificate is arranged when you ask for one — which we recommend for every messenger and bank-run role.
Can one person do cleaning and office boy duties together?
Yes — the cleaner-cum-office boy role is common in smaller offices. Tell us the office size and the split of duties so the workload written into the contract is realistic rather than optimistic.
Do you provide uniforms?
Uniform arrangements are agreed at quotation — we can supply them, or you can provide your own in your company colours. Either way, staff report in clean, pressed uniform.
Who pays the office boy’s salary, EOBI and social security?
On the outsourcing model, we do. The staff member stays on Khawaja Manpower’s payroll and we handle salary, attendance, EOBI and provincial social security. On the recruitment model you employ him directly and pay a one-time fee.
